Tony Draws!
Coffs Harbour New South Wales 2450
Tony Colley has been drawing ever since he was old enough to hold a crayon and not immediately eat it.
At school his teachers told him he should be an illustrator when he grew up. Of course, he didn’t believe that for a second and went on to have a number of weird jobs as an adult like checking bus timetables, building websites about horses, and putting those little numbers in the corners of receipt books.
But eventually he did make illustration his career and now he draws all over books and magazines and video games and the internet.
Tony works completely digitally after one too many drinking-the-paint-water incidents. His illustrations are full of humour and over-the-top expressions, with a perfectly reasonable number of skeletons-per-page. His art style embraces silliness and exaggeration and has been described as ‘oddball’, ‘offbeat’ and ‘less drool, please.’
