Cynthia Roberts

Cynthia lives in South Australia, her love of travel, new experiences and nature have inspired her art.

Cynthia is a Children’s Book Illustrator who uses acrylic, watercolour, collage and pencils as well as digital drawing programs.

As an Illustrator she wants to keep the magic of reading alive by creating joyful experiences for both kids and adults who read with kids. Cynthia wants to promote inclusivity and diversity in her illustrations, her hope is to create beautiful stories that all children can see themselves in.

Her art is bursting with colour, playfulness and detail and she loves to create artwork that has a strong story behind it.

As a kid she loved reading books rich with detail and description, her favourite illustrated books were those that drew you in closer to find hidden elements, bringing you deeper into the characters and story.
