Tara White

Tara White is a self-taught artist and illustrator based in Geelong, Victoria.

She delights in creating expressive watercolour paintings, whimsical ink illustrations and vibrant acrylic works, although nothing compares to the joy of feeling paint between her fingers. Inspired by the colours of nature and the wonder of the creatures that share our world, her work celebrates imagination, beauty and the simple moments that often go unnoticed.

Living a simple, grounded life, Tara finds happiness in family, friends and time spent in nature. She believes creativity begins with curiosity, walking through life with open eyes and allowing her imagination to gently fill in the gaps.

Whether painting for exhibitions, illustrating children’s books or creating commissioned pieces, Tara hopes her artwork brings a sense of joy, warmth and wonder to those who experience it.
